Case partly made of solid wood and a solid wood front. Maple or alder wood is stained and burnished into mahogany or (walnut colour shown here) in several production steps in order to achieve the fine original shades. This model shows an elaborately crafted brass dial with moon phase and a polished brass lyre pendulum.
